"The essence of mathematics is to look for patterns.

Our minds seem to be organised to search for relationships and sequences. We look for hidden orders.

These intuitions seem to be more important than the facts themselves, for there is always the thrill at finding something, a pattern, it is a discovery - what was unknown is now revealed. Imagine looking up at the stars and finding the zodiac!

Searching out patterns is a pure delight.

Suddenly the counters fall into place and a connection is found, not necessarily a geometric one, but a relationship between numbers, pictures of the mind, that were not obvious before. There is that excitement of finding order in something that was otherwise hidden.

And there is the knowledge that a huge unseen world lurks behind the facades we see of the numbers themselves."

There Lies a World Hidden

There Lies a World Hidden,
Mysterious, unknown, and forbidden.
Where dwells entities with technologies beyond our comprehension,
And knowledge kept hidden from us, in this other dimension.

Chapter One


Prophesies of Shambhalla

"Shambhalla is part of our soul's memory , thus it is imbedded in our collective consciousness. Through the Ages, around the world, stories have been passed down about this mythological kingdom.

The mythical paradise of Shamballa, sometimes thought to be in a parallel world or dimension , is a land of a thousand names. The Hindus call it "Paradesha" or "Aryavarsha", the land from which the Vedas came from; the Buddhists "Shambala"; the Chinese know it as " Hsi Tien", the Western Paradise of Hsi Wang Mu, the Royal Mother of the West; the Russians knew it as "Belovodye" and "Janaidar", the Christians and the Jews the "Garden of Eden". In the esoteric literature it has become known as "Shangri-La", "Agarttha" or "the Land of the Living".It has the name of "Forbidden Land"; "the Land of White Waters"; the "Land of Radiant Spirits"; the "Land of Living Fire"; the "Land of the Living Gods" and the "Land of Wonders".

It is regarded by most esoteric traditions as the true center of the planet, as the world's spiritual powerhouse and the heartland of a brotherhood of adepts. Call it what you will, but let it be described as the home for immortals; a place where the Will of God is known;  a celestrial kingdom that holds our very destiny. It is our past. It is our future and  exists in our present .  

What is above so shall it be below. Just as we are dual in nature so is our beautiful Shamballa.  It exists in our physical realm, in our spiritual realm and hidden in a parallel dimension. .

Shambhalla is  known by the Celtics as the mystical  “Avalon”, hidden in the mists of illusion. Once our home, now mostly forgotten except in our dreams, our soul still goes there for healing and revitalization. It is a land without time, full of power and mystery, offering enlightenment to the traveler that is fortunate enough to enter  its gates.

Maya, the Goddess of Illusion give us our clue to unlock its door.  “First you must remember,  find the key, and then escape.”The world is a labyrinth and few will find the egress, but for the seeker of truth the entrance to Shambhalla is possible. Its path is archaic, but tried, tested and true.
We first need to remember  why we are here. That our existence on this earth plane is nothing but an illusion...a alchemical laboratory of transmutations.   It is here that we prepare ourselves for our  destiny..a destiny outside the illusion of Maya. Use your time wisely on this plane, burn off the old karma and learn to appreciate life's lessons.

The people of Tibet and Mongolia  believe that Shambhala is a hidden kingdom with a community where perfect and semiperfect beings live, guiding the evolution of mankind. It is the gateway between the physical and spiritual world, hidden from the non believer  by a psychic barrier. Beneath the land of Shambhalla  lies a cavernous underworld.. Its summit aligns to the wheeling constellation of Ursa Major, the Seven Stars that circle the Pole.

Through our history,  people of the world have sought to find this realm of cosmic harmony hidden within the veils of Avalon. They literally tried to bring heaven to earth by building temples and pyramids in the center of their cities to function as patterns of this paradise.

The Sumerians built a temple which was called ‘The House of the Mountain’ and knew it as ‘the bond of heaven and earth’. The central hub bound the heavens, underworld and human world together. Seven tiers led up to the shrine on its summit, which mirrored the legend of the seven gated underworld below. ‘What is above , so shall be below’.

Glastonbury in southwest England was once one of these cosmic centers. The  summit on the strange shaped hill of Glastonbury Tor  is the site of a holy shrine predating any medieval church.
Local legends have it that  an entrance to Annwn, the British/Welshname for the Underworld is located here. In recent years evidence of a seven-tiered labyrinth encircling the Tor , from base to summit, has been uncovered. This area has been frequented as a place of power going back as far as the Bronze Age and beyond.

Shambhalla is considered to be the source of the Kalacakra, which is the highest and most esoteric branch of Tibetan mysticism. According to the Kalachakra Tantra Prophecy, a line of enlightened kings guard the highest wisdoms for the time when all spiritual values in the outside world are lost in wars and destruction. At that time, a great king will come out of the Shambhalla kingdom to defeat the forces of evil and establish the Golden Age.

The prophecy of Shambhalla gives us a hint of the coming Golden Age. There will be 32 kings, each reigning for a 100 years.  As their reigns pass conditions, of the world will deteriorate. Wars will break out in the pursuant of power. Materialism will overcome spiritualism and spread over the world. Then the 'barbarians' who follow this ideology of power and materialism are united under one evil king , assuming there is nothing left to conquer. When this time comes, the mists will then lift to reveal the icy mountains of Shambhala. Seeing the promised lands of Shambhalla, the barbarians will then attack Shambhalla with a huge army equipped with terrible weapons. The 32nd king of Shambhala, Rudra Cakrin, ‘The Wrathful One with the Wheel’ will rise from his throne and lead a mighty host against the invaders destroying the army of barbarians. After the battle has been won, the rule of Shambhalla will cover the world, bringing in the greatest Age of all times. Food will grow without work, there will be no disease or poverty, hatred and jealousies will be replaced with love and the great  saints and sages of the past will return to life to teach true wisdom of the Ages.

Rudka Cakrin is known as ‘the Cakravartin’ or ‘the possessor of the wheel‘. This wheel supposedly is a wheel of iron that falls from the sky to mark the beginning of his reign. Some may see this ‘wheel of iron falling from the sky as a metaphor where others may view this quite literally as an Alien Craft.

n the Kalachkra, one can find the necessary teaching provided for preparation of the prophesized war. We find in it ‘the psychology of invasions’ and detailed instructions on how to build various machines to ward off the invaders. The sacred texts go on to say the Dark Age will last until the year 2424 AD, when a ‘great war’ will begin in India. The human race will be rescued from total destruction by the armies of Shambhalla riding ‘flying horses’ and ‘boats that fly in the air’. Again these could be metaphors, but I lean more to the texts describing ufos.

There are sacred texts also called ’mind termas’ which are hidden within the minds of mankind. I suspect they are imbedded in our DNA, as untapped memories.

The ’mind termas’ will be released to us through meditation and/or states of sleep.  It has been prophesized that some of the discoverers of these texts will actually wake up from sleep with pages ‘physically’in their hands. Anyone that has knowledge of the apporation phenomenon will realize that this does happen. *I experienced an apportation of sorts  over ten years ago when I lived in Arizona. I awoke from my sleep one morning  holding  a small crystal quartz , which I physically brought out of a dream of myself being in the Great Hall of Wisdom.  There are similar tales telling us that individuals capable of visiting Shambhalla in a meditative state will similarly return with physical objects  previously unknown on earth.

Chapter Two

The Location of Shambhalla

Although some will make claim that Shambhalla exists only within your heart and mind there are those that would differ. The idea that Shambhalla is located in the material world is firmly rooted in Tibetan tradition. However the opinions as to its location differ considerably.

Tibetan texts appear to show historical facts about Shambhalla. The data recorded in these texts give names, dates and corresponding events occurring in the outside world. The Hindus and Buddhist alike regard Mount Meru, located in the Himalayas, as the location of Shambhalla. It is the center of the cosmos, having its roots in hell and its summit in heaven. The mountain peak houses a magnificent central palace radiating a powerful, diamond like light, which is the home of Indra, King of Hindu gods.

Legends tell of her slopes being studded with glittering gemstones and thick with trees heavy with delicious fruit. She is circled by seven rings of golden mountains, each separated from the other by one of seven circular oceans . This entire superstructure rises from an outer ocean, and is flanked by four main continents, each with two subcontinents. The southern continent, Jambudvipa, corresponds to the physical earth. Each of the other continents represents a nearby planet upon which transmigrating souls following the yellow light-path may be reborn.

Tibetan religious texts tell us that the technology of Shambhalla is supposed to be highly advanced; the palace contains special skylights made of lenses which serve as high-powered telescopes to study extraterrestrial life, and for hundreds of years Shambhalla’s inhabitants have been using aircraft and cars that shuttle through a network of underground tunnels. On the way to enlightenment, Shambhallans acquire such powers as clairvoyance, the ability to move at great speeds, and the ability to materialize and disappear at will.

Andrew Tomas, author of 'Shambhalla, Oasis of Light', writes,  This remarkable kingdom reputedly exists both above and below ground, with a network of tunnels hundreds of miles long. Cars of strange design flash along their length and they are illumined by a brilliant, artificial light which affords growth to the grains and vegetables and long life without disease to the people.

Hebrew legends speak of a place called Luz which is described as an underground city near a sacred mountain called the 'abode of immortality'.

Some Tibetans think Shambhalla  might be in Tibet, perhaps in the Kunlun mountains; others point toward the region around Mongolia and Sinkiang province of China. Others believe it to in Siberia or some other part of Russia. Some lamas claim that  it is hidden in the frozen Artic. Others believe Shambhalla only exists in an parallel universe or higher dimension.



In the years between 1923 and 1928, Nicholas Roerich, led an expedition across the Gobi Desert to the Atlai mountain , a journey which covered 15,500 miles across 35 of the world’s highest mountain passes. It is rumored that he may have been on a mission to find and return what was said to be part of the sacred 'Chintamani Stone, which was believed to be part of a magical meteorite from the solar system in the constellation of Orion. According to Lamaist legend, a fragment of this stone from what may be the star Sirius,  is sent wherever a spiritual mission vital to humanity is set up, and is returned when that mission is completed. The stone is said possess occult properties, capable of giving telepathic  inner guidance and effecting a transformation of consciousness to those in contact with it.

Whether he retrieved the stone or not is not known, but what we do know for certain is that he was sent in search of it by the League of Nations. Just in the fact that he was sent on this expedition lends credibility to the existence of the Shambhalla legends.

Roerich was a man of great creditability. To his credit, he was a philosopher, author, explorer, member of the Theosophical Society, member of the League of Nations, influential in the FDR administration and was the pivotal force behind placing the Great Seal of the United States on the American dollar.  He also produced hundred of paintings capturing the essence of the area and its people.

Roerich strove to link all scientific and creative disciplines to advance true culture and international peace, citing the power of art and beauty to accomplish such a feat. In honor of his efforts, in 1935 The Roerich Peace Pact was established, which obligated nations to respect museums, cathedrals, universities and libraries as they did hospitals, and became part of the United Nations organizational charter.

In his travels through China and Mongolia to the borders of Tibet, Roerich met with a lama that described Shambhalla to him. According to this famous explorer, Roerich was told  'Great Shambhalla is far beyond the ocean. It is the mighty heavenly domain. It has nothing to do with our Earth. . . . Only in some places, in the Far North, can you discern the resplendent rays of Shambhala.'  Going on, the lama  described it as a 'far-off valley', hidden in the midst of high mountains, with hot springs and rich vegetation. Then he stated ’ the ruler of Shambhalla is ever vigilant in the cause of mankind. He sees all the events of earth in his 'magic mirror' and 'the might of his thought penetrates into far-off lands'. Continuing, he goes on to say,  'Uncountable are the inhabitants of Shambhalla. Numerous are the splendid new forces and achievements which are being prepared there for humanity.' This lama confirmed that messengers from Shambhalla are at work in the world, and that even the ruler of this great kingdom  sometimes appears, in a human form, to mankind . He stressed that the secrets of Shambhalla are well guarded, and that it is impossible for anybody to reach Shambhalla unless their karma is ready and they are called . Although Roerich may have only heard the legend of Shambhalla from the lama, the explorer later went on to report that he discovered a subterranean society of Aghartians. Aghartians was a civilization of over 20 million people living throughout all the subterranean passages of the world. 

According to David Pratt, Mysteries of the Inner Earth, Roerich spent a time examining the inner kingdoms, caverns and empty lavachambers through the studying the local folk lore and talking to those familiar with the area and these legends which included tales of lost tribes and subterranean dwellers.  He came to realize that the attributes assigned to the underworld ranged from heavenly to hellish, and its inhabitants from super to sub human. With all the stories he was able to collect, it came to him that one story seemed quite common . The same story kept surfacing about people abandoning the surface finding refuge in the subterranean world where they found passageways leading to inner earth kingdoms. Many of these people still live there, coming to the surface rarely.

Great is the belief in the Kingdom of the subterranean people.  There is rumoured to be a vast underground network of caves and tunnels under the whole of Central Asia, with many passages radiating out from the spiritual hub of Shambhala . According to popular belief, there are numerous secret subterranean passages beneath India, whose entrances are guarded by elementals which assume the shape of rocks or other natural features.

According to H.P Blavatsky, Mesoamerica and South America are  honeycombed with long, mysterious tunnels, some of them running for hundreds of miles, from Columbia in the north through Peru and Bolivia to Chile in the south, and to the Amazon jungle in the east. Only a few sections of these tunnels have so far been discovered . She goes on to say that there is  an immense tunnel running from Cuzco to Lima in Peru, and then extending south into Bolivia . In Egypt, a vast subterranean world is traditionally believed to extend from the catacombs of Alexandria to Thebes' Valley of the Kings. The subterranean crypts of Thebes were known as the serpent's catacombs, the serpent representing the ancient wisdom  religions.

The Native American believe that  their ancestors came out of the earth, after they had  taken  refuge in caverns to escape past cataclysms. The Cherokee Indians speak of a subterranean world much like our own, with mountains, rivers, trees, and people. The Aztecs said their ancestors came from a land called Aztlan, and that after escaping its destruction they ended up in a cavern called Chicomoztoc, or the Seven Cavern Cities of Gold, where they lived before emerging to the surface world . The Mexican demi-god Votan describes a subterranean passage, a 'snake's hole', which runs underground and terminates at the root of the heavens; he himself was allowed to enter it because he was a 'son of the snakes'

The Hopi Indians hold their rituals in an underground chamber known as the kiva in honor of their ancestors life in the inner world. They believe  there has been a succession of four worlds. The first world was destroyed by fire, the second by a poleshift, and the third by flooding. Some chosen people were saved from the disasters that destroyed the first two worlds by taking refuge underground, and some survived the destruction of the third world by being sealed inside hollow reeds. The Pima Indians also speak of the emergence into our world through a spiral hole that was bored up to the earth's surface

Legends of ancestral origins in subterranean lands are also found in Africa and Australia. Australian aborigines believe their ancestors came up out of the ground, travelled about the country and created new tribes, then 'ultimately journeyed away beyond the confines of their territory, or went down into the ground again'. According to the native traditions of the Caroline Islands, Papua New Guinea, and Malaysia, a subterranean race of giants went underground in ancient times. Once inhabitants of the lost continent of Chamat, they will one day 'emerge and remake the world'. Natives of the Trobiand Islands believe that their ancestors emerged from a subterranean existence through a special hole. Tribes in Bengal and Burma also believe their ancestors emerged from a subterranean world.

Hitler also made attempts to locate and enter the gates of Shambhalla. . The idea of Shambhalla and its occult knowledge was an obsession to him., The roots of his occult desires can be traced far back into his youth where he studied the occult and yoga in Vienna. The young  Hitler received initiation into the American Indian Peyote Cult. After he was introduced to The Secret Doctrine, he then turned his attention more to Theosophy. Later he joined the occult group in Germany called Ultima Thulli, out of which the Nazi Party was born. 

Upon assuming power, Hitler established the ministry of Ancestral Memories, headed by the Chairman of the Sanskrit Department at Munich University. Through this connection with Sanskrit studies, the Nazis adopted the swastika, an ancient symbol of good luck and well being. Although many believe that Hitler designed this emblem it is a fact that the Hindu , Buddhist and Jain worlds had honored this symbol for thousands of years prior to the Nazi movement.

With the help of the explorer Sven Hedlin, Hitler sent several expeditions to Tibet. The Nazis claimed that although Shambhalla was inaccessible to them, they also made contact and gained help from the mystical kingdom of Agartha . It was reported that the  leaders held a ceremony led by a man with the keys to Argatha
.
The Theosophists Society believes Shambhalla to be the seat for the Brotherhood of Adepts.  Shambhalla sends forth messengers and teachers to work among mankind for the advancement of spiritual growth. Surrounded by an akashic veil, the theosophists claim it has several locations here on earth. One location is 'situated in the highlands of Asia, somewhere to the westward of the meridian line passing through Lhassa' . Long ago, this locality was a sacred island in a vast Central Asian inland sea, known as the 'abyss of learning' or 'sea of knowledge', and was accessible via subterranean passages. According to tradition, this place exists to this day as an oasis surrounded by the Gobi desert. The second location is Mount Meru or Sumeru. It is the north pole of the earth, so chosen not for its geographical qualities, but because of its astrological  position. It is the mystical north pole, geographically identical with the north pole of the earth, but mystically quite different. Theosophical literature also states that there is an even higher Shambhala located in the sun, and that all these different localities are inhabited by classes of entities with which the human race is spiritually and intellectually interconnected.

In Hindu mythology Meru is the mystical mountain at the center of the world, where Indra, king of the gods, resides. However, so as not to get confused, Meru actually has several different meanings, including a Mount Meru in Asia, the north geographical pole, the north celestrial pole, the earth's spin axis, the world axis connecting earth to higher realms, and the cerebrospinal axis of the human body.. The Egyptians, Akkadians and Indians also believe that Meru has its opposite. The Artic Meru, known as Sumeru , is the dwelling place of the gods and the Antartic Meru, known as Kumeru is the dwelling place of demons.

Meru, the Olympus of the Indians, is said to be situated in the center of the earth. It is guarded by serpents, which 'watched the entrance to the realm of Secret Knowledge'. It is the 'land of bliss' of the earliest Vedic times. Occult teachings 'place it in the very center of the North Pole, pointing it out as the site of the first continent on our earth, after the solidification of the globe. In the ancient astronomical text Surya-Siddhanta , Meru is described as 'passing through the middle of the earth-globe, and protruding on either side.' That other side, the  Southwestern American Hopi Indians believe  is their sacred Black Mesa.

H.P. Blavatsky says that 'Meru is not "the fabulous mountain in the navel or center of the earth," but its roots and foundations are in that navel, though it is in the far north itself. This connects it with the "central" land "that never perishes" . . .' She continues, 'According to Tibetan tradition the White Island is the only locality which escapes the general fate of other dwipas and can be destroyed by neither fire nor water, for - it is the "eternal land"


The earth is powered by a life source giving off  electro-magnetic energy. This energy(blood of mother earth)  is destributed through ther body through  veins which we call ley lines, giving life to everything. The heart which pumps the blood is found in the 'centre' or 'navel' of the earth. .
The Caretaker of Earth, Shambhalla, has been described as  a main power center with auxiliary centers scattered about the globe, linked by subterranean passageways.

Unknown to the surface people lives humans that the 'gods' created. According to the Chaldean Account of Genesis . ’Human beings . . . the great gods created, and in the earth the gods created for them a dwelling. In the midst of the earth they grew up and became great, and increased in number, Seven kings, brothers of the same family . . .'
Iranian, Indian, Chinese, Scandinavian, Native American Indian, Mayan and Aztec literature also make references to Inner Earth civilizations of Shambhalla.

The Japanese also have a Shambhalla which they have named ‘Island of the Congealed Drop’. It is situated ‘on the top of the globe' but at the same time 'at the center of the earth'. Its first roof-pillar was the earth's axis, and over it was the pivot of the vault of heaven.

The Chinese actually describe their idea of Shambhalla as the Center of the Earth, directly under Shang-te's heavenly palace, declaring it to be in the polestar. They also call it,  ‘The Palace of the Center’.

The Egyptians located their Ta Neter, or Land of the Gods, in the extreme North.

Let’s take into consideration the Legend of Santa Claus or Saint Nick. Although long forgotten the reasoning behind it, our children still send letters to Santa addressed to the  North Pole .

North of the Himalayas is a version of Shambhalla, Uttarakuru or northern Kuru. It is described as the blissful land of the sages towards which Arjuna, the warrior prince of the Bhagavad-Gita, travelled in search of enlightenment. Magic fruit trees yielded the nectar of immortality. It is one of four regions surrounding Mount Meru and is the homeland of the Siddhas, enlightened yogis famed for their miraculous powers.

Greek mythology has their own version of Shambhala as well. Greek mythology introduces us to what is known as  Hyperborean Land. The land of eternal summer and favorite home of Apollo. .

According to the Orphics, the Island of Electris, the seat of the gods, lies under the polestar in the furthest waters of Tethys .

The Mandean Gnostics believed that an ideal earth with eternal light was the home of a divine race of super humans. This was reported to be located in the North, separated from our world by a high mountain of Ice.

The Avestan term 'Airyanem Vaejah' designates the cradle land of the Aryan-Iranians. It supposed to be located not in any of the earth's seven climates, but at the center of the central zone, the eighth climate. It was there that the 'first man', received the command to construct a vara, or enclosure, where the most highly developed humans, animals, and plants would be gathered in order to save them from the deadly winter unleashed by the demonic powers (nucleur winter brought on by atomic warfare) so that they might one day rebuild the world. This vara or paradise had a gate and luminescent windows which secreted an inner light within. It was illuminated by both uncreated and created lights. This vara in most likelihood is a space craft.

Chapter Three

Shambhalla and the Hollow Earth

Our Earth is honeycombed with vast networks of natural and unnatural (man and alien made) tunnels and caves .

Seismic sonar instruments have detected what we now call ‘The Great Road’ , located miles beneath the earth’s surface. This is a gigantic, globe-spanning ‘ribbon’ around the earth , made of a series of caves. Thousands of meters wide and hundreds thick, this ribbon encircles earth horizontally at the equator and vertically around the poles. Mobil Oil geologists found Cyclopean underground cities at two intersections, located beneath the jungles of equatorial Ecuador and an ocean trench off the southern coast of Malaysia. These highly advanced cities , complete with hieroglyphics and pictographs , predate not only dinosaurs but even the vertebrates.

Even deeper within  the  Earths interior is found the cities of Agharti , Shambhalla and the Caesars . While few have come back to tell the stories of Shambhalla, there have been expeditions that have penetrated Agharta,  an initiatory center for Shambhalla.

The Buddhist describe Agharta  as a great kingdom of peace and tranquility with a population reaching into the millions. A world of astonishing beauty, with inner suns, underground lakes and palaces made from the purest crystal. Crops are irrigated by special waters and the powerful rays of the ‘Great Light’ produced by a secret machine given to them by gods thousands of years ago.

The idea of underground worlds is nothing new. Even Columbus believed that all waters flowed towards the poles where they became replenished and redirected in their course.

The earliest account we have of this land of mystery and illusion dates back to  year 4 BC. Apollonius of Tyana, a mystic Greek physician,  was given a secret map of what was called ‘The City of the Gods’ by a priest. Not wasting any time and despite the dangers, Apollonius immediately set of in search of this kingdom.   .

Traveling through Mesopotamia and Babylon, he reached India where he employed the services of a local guide to take him deep into the Himalayan mountains. Suddenly after fifteen days of arduous walking the scenery around them changed dramatically. In his book 'We Are Not The First', author Andrew Thomas sets the scene: “The path by which they had come disappeared after them. The countryside shifted its position and they seemed to be in a place preserved by illusion.”
Met by a boy who answered them in Greek the pair were then presented to the ruler of this amazing land. With a warm welcome he bade them to  accompany him on a tour of his kingdom, and completely spell bound, the pair were shown incredible marvels of a world few outsiders had ever seen or imagined. Majestic pillars of light shot skywards, and radiant stones provided constant light. Philostratus, who was Apollonius’ biographer describes feats of levitation and complicated robot-like machines serving food and drink as they sat down to eat. As they did so the ruler proudly announced: “You have come to men who know everything.”

According to Philostratus these men “were living on the Earth and at the same time not on it.”

Upon his return to the west Apollonius immediately set about challenging the Roman authorities. This placed him on a dangerous footing. Nero was now Emperor, and dissenters were harshly dealt with. On several occasions Apollonius was only saved by the strange powers he now seemed to have acquired. Summoned before a tribunal in Rome the chief prosecutor was about to read from the scroll outlining Apollonius’ offences when suddenly the page turned blank. Terrified this was some sort of divine portent the authorities immediately dropped all charges and Apollonius was allowed to go free.
On another occasion Apollonius was ordered before the Emperor Domitian, charged with ‘un-Roman activities.’ Seemingly nonchalant to his fate Apollonius stood before the crowded court of three hundred witnesses and confidently proclaimed: “You can detain my body, but not my soul, and I will add, not even my body.” Suddenly there was a bright flash and Apollonius vanished from sight.

Nicholas Roerich claimed that he was awares of caves in the Himalayan foothills with subterranean passages leading to these subterrainan cities. . Found in one of these passages is a stone door shall remain sealed until a future time. What lies behind that door only a 'selected few' know and they are not about to give away its secret.

People have been searching for the legendary Shambhalla for ages. Some have ventured into the unknown never to return. Either these people had found the ultimate happiness and chose to stay or they may have been destroyed in their search. There are perils that obstruct the path to this city of promise. Many have lost their lives by being swallowed by crevasses , caught in avalanches , killed by wild animals or maybe even something sub-human or supernatural.  We find references from various religions, myths, legends and folklore pointing out that the path to paradise is sabotaged with perils.  Its inhabitants range from superhuman to subhuman and the underworld is a maze of multiple dimensions.

In Central Asia,  a vast  network of caves and tunnels are rumored to be running under its ground.  Many subterranean passages run beneath India. Varanasi (Benares), ancient name of Kashi, is said to be connect by a tunnel to Gupta Kashi (gupta meaning secret or hidden),an underground city in the Himalayans. The people of India believe these passageways are guarded by the elementals that assume the shape of rocks or other natural features. The Native American Indians commonly believe that these same type of elementals guard the underground passageways found in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona.

Mesoamerica and South America are honeycombed with tunnels, some of them running for hundreds of miles, from Columbia in the north through Peru and Bolivia to Chile in the south, and to the Amazon Jungle in the east. H.P. Blavatsky mentions an immense tunnel running from Cuzco to Lima in Peru, and then extending south into Bolivia

In Egypt, a large subterranean world is traditionally believed to extend from the catacombs of Alexandria to Thebes' Valley of the Kings.

Many Native American peoples believe that their ancestors came from the womb of Mother Earth, where they were sent by the gods to escape past cataclysms that were taking place on the earth's surface. They later resurfaced through a hole in the Earth. These emergence places on earth are called 'cenotes.' A cenote is a very very deep hole filled with water. In the Yucatan there is one of these found at Chichen Itza. Another one can be found outside Sedona, Arizona, USA, at Montezuma's Well. 

The Mandans of the northwestern United States, some of whom has blue eyes and silky hair, tell the story of the first man to emerge from the tunnels in their area. They were called the Histoppa or 'tattooed ones.' Having left safety too soon, they perished. The rest remained below until a bright light broke the darkness on the surface.

The Hopi believe that the world we live in is the Fourth World and the other three are inside the earth. In stages, and through many hardships, they emerged from a hole called Sipapu. This emergence site, found at the bottom of the Canyon of the Little Colorado above its junction with the Colorado River, is a sacred place of pilgrimage for the Hopi. It lies in the Four Corners Area.

Another Hopi legend tells of them also emerging from a world beneath the earth through a tunnel located at the base of the San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff, Arizona. The Hopi legends say that their ancestors were driven to the surface by another faction of their own kind who turned on their own and was practicing sorcery. A clue to who that factor of their own kind was may be found in the Apache legends which state that the ‘Two Hearts‘ or the ‘Children of the Lizard‘ drove the Pueblos to the surface after they invaded their underground domain.

The Lakota Tribes in the US Central Plains also believe they came up out of the Earth at a location named Harney Peak in the Black Hills.

The Pajaritan Pueblo Indians have a Legend that they emerged from earth’s womb near the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. They then traveled down the Rio Grande, setting up Pueblos. The area now known as Los Alamos, was considered evil. It was the home of the underworld Little People, as known by ufologists as Deros. From these people would come the curse of The Gourd of Death’.

The Navajo legends state they once lived Underground, together with the Coyoteros and the White people, below a mountain near Silverton, Colorado. After coming to the surface they went south and settled in the canyons of the Dinetah area, near Navaho Dam, between Aztec and Dulce, New Mexico.

According to New Mexican Myth, Montezuma was born near Tao and allegedly trained by beings who lived in caverns, inside Pueblo Peak.

The Aztecs tell of their ancestors coming from a land called Aztlan. After escaping its destruction they ended up in a cavern called Chicomoztoc, or the Seven Cavern Cities of Gold. This is where they lived before emerging to the surface

Australian aborigines believe their ancestors came up out of the ground and  traveled about the country creating new tribes. This belief also lies with the tribes Bengal, Burma, Caroline Islands, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia.

Plato tells us of many cavities and 'wonderful regions' in the earth, and of subterranean flows of water, mud, and fire. He says, "One of the cavities in the earth is not only larger than the rest, but pierces right through from one side to the other." It is of this that Homer speaks when he says 'Far, far away, where lies earth's deepest chasm'. He and other poets refer to it as Tartarus, the land of the dead.

The Greeks believed that the lands of the living were divided from Tartarus by fierce obstacles, rivers, and bodies of water or fire. The greatest of these was Oceanus, which not only comprised all the seas of the world, but was also the largest of the 'rivers' which the Greeks believed swept into and through Tartarus, emerging from the underworld on the opposite side of the earth. Other subterranean torrents included Lethe, the river of forgetfulness, and the Styx, the river of death. Tartarus was said to 'sink twice as far below the earth as the earth was beneath the sky', and to be bounded by many perils. Tartaras was also the home of the dethroned gods, the Titans. It contained a variety of regions or kingdoms, ranging from the Elysian Fields to the many grottoes, caverns, and pits of torment reserved for the damned .

The Scandinavian and Germans seen the world as a large yew or ash tree with it's limbs and roots spreading into many planes of existence. The World Tree's, Yggdrasil, roots went deep down into subterranean kingdoms, all of which  bordered a vast primordial void called Ginnungagap. One root of Yggdrasil led into Niflheim, the land of the dead. Similar to the Greeks belief, many waters flowed out from the depths and into the human world; in Niflheim it was the spring/river Hvergelmir which boiled and churned relentlessly. The 11 tributaries of the Hvergelmir emptied into the central void of Ginnungagap. The second of Yggdrasil's roots found its way into the lands of the gods, Asgard and Vanaheim. While often pictured as a land high in Yggdrasil's branches, this realm was also subterranean. In fact, the only world of Norse cosmology that is not subterranean is that of Midgard (middle earth), the surface world. Bifrost, the 'rainbow bridge', stretched from Midgard across Ginnungagap into Asgard

In the Sumerian, Epic of Gilgamesh, the underworld was filled with a wide range of beings, including spirits, the undead, humanoids, and savage guardians. In his search for everlasting life, Gilgamesh first had to reach the mountain of Mashu, connected with the heavens above and the netherworld below. Having been allowed to enter the 'gate', he descended into the bowels of the earth through 12 double-hours of darkness before reaching 'an enclosure as of the gods', filled with brilliance and a garden made entirely of precious stones.

The Bible makes many references to the Inner Worlds :
Philippians 2:10, Revised Standard Version:  ’ . . at the name of Jesus  every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth . . . ‘
Revelation 5:3: ‘And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was  able to open the scroll or look into it . . .’
Matthew 12:40:  ‘For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly  of the whale, so will the son of man be three days and three nights in the  heart of the earth.’

In the Book of Enoch, Enoch speaks of proceeding to 'the middle of the earth', where he beheld a 'blessed land', 'happy and fertile' (25:1, 26:1). An angel shows him 'the first and last secrets in heaven above, and in the depths of the earth: In the extremities of heaven, and in the foundations of it, and in the receptacle of the winds' (59:2-3). There are said to be cavities in the earth and 'mighty waters' under it (65:1, 87:5, 95:2).

Following is the Persian Legend of the Koh-Kaf Mountains taken from the pages of Blavotsky’s book, ‘The Secret Doctrine‘:
“Whatever they may be in their geographical status, whether they are the Caucasian or Central Asian mountains, it is far beyond these mountains to the North, that legend places the Daevas [giants] and Peris; the latter the remote ancestors of the Parsis or Farsis. Oriental tradition is ever referring to an unknown glacial, gloomy sea, and to a dark region, within which, nevertheless, are situated the Fortunate Islands, wherein bubbles, from the beginning of life on earth, the fountain of life. But the legend asserts, moreover, that a portion of the first dry island (continent), having detached itself from the main body, has remained, since then, beyond the mountains of Koh-Kaf, 'the stony girdle that surrounds the world.' A journey of seven months' duration will bring him who is possessed of 'Sulayman's ring' to that 'fountain,' if he keeps on journeying North straight before him as the bird flies. Journeying therefore from Persia straight north, will bring one along the sixtieth degree of longitude, holding to the west, to Novaya Zemlya; and from the Caucasus to the eternal ice beyond the Arctic circle would land one between 60 and 45 degrees of longitude, or between Novaya Zemlya and Spitzbergen. This, of course, if one has the dodecapedian horse of [King] Hoshang or the winged Simurgh [a marvellous bird, the Persian phoenix] of Tahmurath (or Taimuraz) [third king of Persia], upon which to cross over the Arctic Ocean.*
Nevertheless, the wandering songsters of Persia and the Caucasus will maintain, to this day, that far beyond the snow-capped summits of Kap, or Caucasus, there is a great continent now concealed from all. That it is reached by those who can secure the services of the twelve-legged progeny of the crocodile and the female hippopotamus, whose legs become at
will twelve wings*; or by those who have the patience to wait for the good pleasure of Simurgh-anke, who promised that before she dies she will reveal the hidden continent to all, and make it once more visible and within easy reach, by means of a bridge, which the Ocean Daevas will build between that portion of the 'dry island' and its severed parts.* This relates, of course, to the seventh race, Simurgh being the Manvantaric cycle.”
*Bailey thought she saw in this horse as a twelve-oared ship. . .

Time and the Kalachakra

...the 16 Nityas along with the (36 consonant) letters which are the manifested 36 tattvas, and the Mantras which are formed by the letters, as also the Yantras are one with Time (Kala) - Tantrarajatantra XXV, Avalon

"The fundamental basis of Indian astronomy is a simple expression: "Breath is Time". This is outlined in older upanishads as well as in the astronomical works known as siddhantas. In ancient India there was no split between astronomy, spiritual life, and people. The purpose of astronomy was to relate the macrocosm to the microcosm. The Hindus were not addicted to stargazing for the purpose of giving new labels to stars, nor were they interested in applying spiritual concepts to technological ends. The scheme may originally have originated from Sumerian culture, which used base 60 and produces ephemerides superior to those used by the Victorians. The Hindu measures of time are ideal or spiritual measures. Adepts of the Kalachakra were well aware of perturbations in planetary cycles, in the year and in the month. Consistent with this view is the concept that people are, like the real solar system, subject to fluctuations, perturbations and inequalities. The periods are based on the numbers 27, 54, 108, 360 and 21600, numbers which we find recurring again and again in tantrik texts. That which is real is the respiration, say Sanskrit texts. A respiration consists of two halves, an inhalation and an exhalation. The meshing of time and astronomy and breath is the Kalachakra. Mahakala = Brahma = Time. The obstacles to Sun-Moon respiration, or equipose-breathing, are caused by conditioning. According to the Indian medical shastra, the ayurveda, food is of three types = impressions, breath, edibles. Just as without food we are starved and die, and without oxygen we suffocate, so without impressions we could not survive. Wrong food affects us, faulty breathing starves the blood of oxygen, lack of impressions causes physiological disturbance. Relating our own body to cosmology, our earth centre, our physical or planetary body, is sustained by food. Our emotional centre (Sol) is sustained by breath. Our intellectual centre (Moon) is sustained by impressions. Speech is breath modulated by the physical organism in various ways - depth of breathing, muscle tension, shape of mouth, shape of mental impressions. The Indian measure is that 10 long syllables make 1 breath. There are smaller subdivisions of time ending with the paramanu -- this is related to the time taken to sense an impression. The goddess, or shakti, is the whole circle of the Zodiac, Time, the Sun, Moon and Planets, the Constellations, Breath (Prana) and Matrika (See, for example, Tripurasundari, on this site). All these factors are considered to be unified in the Nath tradition- Matrika Shakti rules all letters of the alphabet, all mantra, and all speech. Words are said to have a delusive nature (Mahamaya Matrika) because the word itself, although it may contain a reference to an object is often surrounded by clusters or Kulas of lesser Shaktis, These lesser Shaktis themselves indicate other references to objects. These Shaktis include what are called 'associations of thought', clusters of sense impressions, connected perhaps by links which are unique to an individual.v

Indian Measures

It is one of the conditions of a Kalpa (aeon) that in it the planets with their apsides and nodes must unite in 0 degrees of Aries -- therefore within each Kalpa a planet must make a certain number of revolutions.

A Yuga is divided into 4 parts:

This means that one solar year = 1 day of the gods
One Kalpa (Aeon) = 1 day of Brahma
One Kalpa = 1 night of Brahma
Brahma's life = 100 years of these days = 864,000,000,000 divine years.

Note that the 'Kali Yuga', although taken to have an aeonic impact upon people's way of life, is nevertheless a fiction used for astrological computation: At the beginning of the Kali epoch (17th Feb 3102 BC) the mean places of the 7 planets are assumed to be at the beginning of the sidereal sphere at 0 degrees Aries. By calculating from this epoch the mean positions of Sun, Moon and planets are obtained. The evidence seems to indicate that the start of the epoch was determined retrospectively, i.e. based on a later epoch and worked backwards to a time when Sun, Moon and planets were in 0 degrees Aries.

In Hindu philosophy, the cycle of creation is divided into four Yugas (ages):

1. Satya Yuga or Krita Yuga

2. Treta Yuga

3. Dwapara Yuga

4. Kali Yuga


The spiritual states of civilization in each yuga

In Hindu tradition, the world goes through a continuous cycle of these ages. Each ascending phase of the cycle from Kali Yuga to Satya Yuga is followed by a descending phase back to Kali Yuga, then another ascending phase and so on. Alternatively, it is sometimes supposed that at the end of the descending Kali Yuga, the world will return to the Satya Yuga, and begin a new decline.

The descent from Satya to Kali is associated with progressively deterioration of Dharma (righteousness) manifested as decrease in length of human life and quality of human moral standards. In the Vishnu Purana, for example, the Kali yuga is described thus:

"In the Kali Yuga, there will be numerous rulers vying with each other. They will have no character. Violence, falsehood and wickedness will be the order of the day. Piety and good nature will dwindle slowly... Passion and lust will be the only attraction between the sexes. Women will be the objects of sensual pleasure. Dishonest will be the bottom line of subsistence. Learned people will be ridiculed and put to shame; the word of the wealthy person will be the only law."

The traditional virtues accorded highest value in the four ages are

1. Satya Yuga or Krita Yuga - dyana (meditation)

2. Treta Yuga - yajna (sacrifice)

3. Dwapar Yuga - archana (worship)

4. Kali Yuga - daana (gifts)

  1. In the highest yuga, the great majority of the people can experience spirituality by direct intuitive realization of truth. The veil between the material and the transcendent realms becomes almost transparent. According to Natya Shastra, there is no Natya performances in the Krita Yuga because it is a period free from any kind of unhappiness or misery. Satya Yuga is also called the Golden Age.
  2. Treta Yuga is the mental age, magnetism is harnessed, men are in power, and inventions dissolve the illusion of time. (Inventions are characteristic of both Dwapara and Treta yugas.) Lord Rama is said to have lived during this Yuga.
  3. In Dwapara Yuga, science flourishes, people experience the spiritual in terms of subtle energies and rational choices, inventions are abundant, particularly those that dissolve the illusion of distance (between people and between things), and power is mostly in the hands of women. The end of this age is associated with the death of Krishna, and the events described in the Mahabharata.
  4. In the lowest phase, Kali Yuga, most people are aware only of the physical aspect of existence, the predominant emphasis of living is material survival, and power is mostly in the hands of men. People's relationship with the spiritual is governed predominantly by superstition and by authority.

Temples, wars, and writing are hallmarks of Dwapara and Kali yugas. In the higher ages (Treta and Satya), writing is unnecessary because people communicate directly by thought; temples are unnecessary because people feel the omnipresence of God; wars are rare but they do occur; one such war is described in the Ramayana.

The traditional timescale of the yugas is as follows:

 

1. Satya Yuga or Krita Yuga - 1,728,000 years

2. Treta Yuga - 1,296,000 years

3. Dwapar Yuga - 864,000 years

4. Kali Yuga - 432,000 years

Upon conclusion of 71 ( or sometimes 7) circuits of this cycle, there is a period equally long during which the world is inundated; then the cycle begins again.

 

Sri Yukteswar's teachings on the yugas

An alternate view of the yuga cycle and timescale was taught by the 19th-century Indian yogi Swami Sri Yukteswar. After his chief disciple Paramahansa Yogananda came to America in 1920 and founded Self-Realization Fellowship to teach his guru's meditation technique Kriya Yoga, Sri Yukteswar's teachings on the yuga cycle, presented in his 1894 book The Holy Science, also became more widely known.

According to Sri Yukteswar, the descending phase of Satya Yuga lasts 4800 years. That of Treta Yuga lasts 3600 years. That of Dwapara Yuga lasts 2400 years. That of Kali Yuga lasts 1200 years. The ascending phase of Kali Yuga then begins, also lasting 1200 years; and so on. The ascending phase of Kali Yuga began in September of 499 AD. Since September 1699, we have been in the ascending phase of Dwapara Yuga.

This differs from the traditional schedule of mainstream Hinduism presented above, which holds that the yugas are much longer, and that we are today at the beginning of a 432,000 Kali yuga that began in 3102BC.

In The Holy Science, Sri Yukteswar writes the traditional view is based on a misunderstanding. He says that at the end of the last descending Dwapara Yuga (about 700 BC ) "MaharajA Yudhisthura, noticing the appearance of the dark Kali Yuga, made over his throne to his grandson [and]...together with all of his wise men...retired to the Himalaya Mountains...Thus there was none in the court...who could understand the principle of correctly accounting the ages of the several Yugas."

Nobody wanted to announce the bad news of the beginning of the descending Kali Yuga, so they just kept adding years to the Dwapara date (at that time 2400 Dwapara). By the deepest point of the Kali Yuga (arounD 500 bc) that made the date 3600. As the Kali began to ascend again, scholars of the time recognized that there was a mistake in the date (then being called 3600+ Kali, although their texts said Kali had only 1200 years). "By way of reconciliation, they fancied that 1200 years, the real age of Kali, were not the ordinary years of our earth, but were so many daiva years ("years of the gods"), consisting of 12 daiva months of 30 daiva days each, with each daiva day being equal to one ordinary solar year of our earth. Hence according to these men 1200 years of Kali Yuga must be equal to 432,000 years of our earth."

Sri Yukteswar also writes that our sun is part of a binary star system, orbiting another star, with an orbital period of about 24,000 years. As our sun moves through this orbit it takes the whole solar system closer to and then further from some "grand center called 'Vishnunabhi', which is the seat of the creative power, 'Brahma', [which]...regulates...the mental virtue of the internal world."

The "yuga" cycle corresponds to the phenomenon described as "precession of the equinoxes" whereby the positions of constellations shift across the horizon over a period of (if it continues at current rates) 25,600 years. The usual explanation for this is that it is due to precession, whereby Earth's poles wobble over time much like the motion of a toy top. However, according to California venture capitalist Walter Cruttenden of The Binary Research Institute, the same observed phenomenon could be explained equally well or better by elliptical motion of our solar system through space, such as would be caused by it orbiting (and being orbited by) a binary companion. (Such elliptical motion would cause the "precession" to vary in speed over time, resulting in a complete cycle of length very close to 24,000 years.)

The Great Pyramid Texts

On the desert plateau of Saqqara 10 miles Southeast of the Great Pyramid, a special set of five very similar pyramids has stood for some forty-two centuries. They are filled with over four thousand columns of hieroglyphs, cut into their solid rock walls.
But why do these 'Pyramid Texts' suddenly appear - and for the most part in just the 5th Dynasty pyramid of King Un-is and the 6th Dynasty pyramids of Teti, Pepi I, Mer-en-r'a and Pepi II?
I think that what follows may provide an explanation, because Egyptologists simply do not know. And who is this strange King Un-is anyway, whose very name means that he is "Like one whose Spiritual Eye is opened?" All five of these Kings believed that this "Eye of the Soul" was real and accessible. In fact (unlike Egyptologists today), they apparently assumed that this "Udjat Eye of Heru" was the foundation of their whole Hieroglyphic language and as such, it provided an indispensable context for understanding all Pyramid Texts.
It is comparatively easy to show that the writings in all five pyramids are clearly distributed in four matching instruction locations corresponding to the Great Pyramid Entrance Passage, Queen's Chamber, Grand Gallery and King's Chamber. The five Kings evidently wanted to have a kind of stenographic record of the words which must have been said countless times in each Great Pyramid location while facing in different directions.
Egyptologists are fond of saying that the Great Pyramid is mute, with no Hieroglyphs cut into its walls. But this is really not quite true. Every upper passage, chamber, gallery and shaft inside the Great Pyramid of Giza is an incredibly old, unmistakable, megalithic Hieroglyph for the words seba and rut for "Ensouling Star door" and "Tunnel Opening gate." They are unmistakably reproduced in the Pyramid Texts of Saqqara. Egyptologists should have told the world about these architectural hieroglyphs long ago. It might have removed much needless speculation about the Great Pyramid.
Egyptologists are also fond of imagining that they have already translated the Pyramid Texts, but this is not even remotely true. Already in the first third of the twentieth century, the great German scholar Kurt Sethe was deciding to dismiss the first 212 Utterances of the Pyramid Texts ostensibly because they were supposed to be just "largely ritual formulae." These mostly non-ritual texts covered more than the North walls of the Saqqara King's Chambers -- with the "Eye of Heru" being written out 80 times, where it had survived. In 1969, R. O. Faulkner published the last attempt to translate the Pyramid Texts. But Egyptologists still believe that these North wall writings of the Saqqara King's Chambers are just "offering rituals."
They are wrong on both counts. These texts are neither "offerings" nor largely "rituals." The "offering" idea hangs precariously on the supposed meaning of the imperative phrase Me-en-ek as "Take-to-yourself (the Eye of Heru)," when it could just as well mean an archaic "See for yourself (the Eye of Heru)" in which case there would be no offerings in the mostly non-ritual writings on the wall. The few ritual writings which are actually there are divided off to themselves by 390 separation lines, unmistakably sculpted in the solid rock. But Egyptologists have chosen to ignore them and have tarred all of these texts with the same ritual brush.
On the South walls of the Saqqara King's Chambers, Egyptologists think they see "resurrection ritual." But these texts are strictly non-ritual and do not contain any ritual separation lines. The word sedjeb for "restore (to life)" is a causative verb se-djeb (a) for "make clothed (with a body)" which any Hindu Sanskrit scholar would recognize as the verb "reincarnate."

We do not have to guess about the significance of these texts. They are self-explanatory. For example Utterance 302, out of a total of 700, begins (on the North wall in the Queen's Chamber) with the expression Djed medu for "Said (in the Queen's Chamber facing North) were the words:" -"whenever the Sharp-pointed Star gleams (two palm-widths before the brow), it is because the Two Sets of Nine Spinal gods have purified in the Ursa Major Polestar, that Star which knows not sweeping. -- " But the Great Pyramid speaker is describing the Northern sky as it looked 26,000 years ago!

Egyptologists see only "protective spells" on the West wall of the Saqqara King's Chamber. But the verb to protect is nowhere to be found. Worse still, there are no actual spells. Some important details about seeing with the Eye can only be found on this wall. But these details have been lost to the world, because Egyptologists have not been able to conceive of the non-ritual Eye of Heru. All that they know about now is the ritual Eye as a ceremonial offering. The lost knowledge of the Star Opening of the Eye at two palm-widths is still accessible to the entire world on this West wall.

Not knowing about the non-ritual Eye of Heru has helped to blind Egyptologists to the unexpected presence of Calculus and Nuclear Chemistry within it, which we have only acquired in the last 333 years.

The Great Pyramid Texts

Buried in Gardiner's "Egyptian Grammar" is what may be described as a most probable translation method. Scattered about amidst many possible alternative approaches is a computer friendly translation technique which works well for the Saqqara Pyramid Texts, even when the context is unknown. But the Eye of Heru soon emerges automatically as the missing context and turns out to be an artificial basis of the Hieroglyphic language itself. This should not happen when a language evolves over thousands of years, but it has happened in the Great Pyramid Texts. Like the artificial Aymara language referred to on p.91 in "Fingerprints of the Gods," the Saqqara Pyramid Texts turn out to be, after 40 years of searching, programmable.
These texts also have a special usage of the usual 'narrative' sedjem en ef form of "he has heard" which no translator has thus far recognized and exploited. This grammatical construct influences the meaning of about half of these writings. As a result, Egyptologists have in effect been trying to translate them, armed only with 50% of the required grammar.
Oddly enough, the last three of the five Saqqara Kings (Pepi I, Mer-en-r'a and Pepi II) even tried to demonstrate this special usage in their pyramids. However Egyptologists have found these demonstrations incomprehensible, so that the important general usage of an understood 'eternal truth' (en) sedjem en ef form of "(it is because) he has heard" has been ignored in their 'translations.' Three remarkable Kings each went to the trouble of actually cutting the usually understood 'introductory conjunction' en (for "it is because") into the West wall of their King's Chamber at the start of Utterances 432 and 443. This generalizing 'eternal truth' form has a profound effect on sentence structure in the Great Pyramid Texts which no present 'translation' can possibly reflect. The vocabulary word meanings in Gardiner's "Egyptian Grammar" have been for many years the most reliable ones in the entire language. But there are many important words in the Saqqara pyramids which are not completely understood. A large number of these words have meanings which are little more than educated guesses on the part of Egyptologists and the rest have completely unknown meanings.
The discovery by Champollion of the Hieroglyphic alphabet in 1822 has made it possible for Egyptologists to learn how to spell Hieroglyphic words. With few exceptions, the correct spelling of every word in the five Saqqara pyramids is now known with remarkable certainty. Gardiner's "Egyptian Grammar" also includes in its vocabulary the meanings of a few letters of the alphabet. But the absence of any Hieroglyphic vowels makes such a search for alphabetical meaning difficult if not impossible. However the 24 consonantal letters of the pyramid alphabet are still Hieroglyphic pictures of actual objects which in some cases amount to alphabetical meanings. The alphabet in this sense can be said to have at least some meanings. But what about a word? Does its consonantal spelling contain any clues to its consonantal meaning? Orthodox Egyptology would say no. But if the Hieroglyphic grammar of the Great Pyramid Texts if artificially programmed (and it is), then whoever programmed it would almost certainly have programmed the meanings of its words. There is much evidence in support of this. Gardiner's reliable vocabulary of word definitions can usually be used to test any such theory of programmed word meanings. there is no need to be discouraged by the educated nay opinions of Egyptologists. The prize after all is nothing less than the complete decipherment of the Hieroglyphs. The most promising approach to completing the decipherment of words is the exploration of defining puns for them, using the 24 alphabetical meanings and pictographs combined with the artificially programmed grammar. There is much more to this method than can be said here, but some of its results may help to show how it works. As has been said, the Hieroglyphic language is fundamentally connected with the Eye of Heru. This can be shown by the spelling of its prepositions. For example, the preposition khenet for "in front of" is defined by its spelling to be "the sphere of the Eye." And, the preposition kher for "near" is similarly defined to be "the sphere of the Star Opening." The concepts of "being in front of" and "nearness" were both thought of as 'being two palm-widths before the brow' in visual consciousness. Sometimes the result can be a little amusing, as when heneqet for "beer" is defined by its spelling to be "the power for being high."

The Great Pyramid Texts should be translated programmably in both grammar and consistent word meanings. But they are now 'translated' according to the caprice of each individual Egyptologist and freely rewritten. Knowledge of a lost civilization has been needlessly lost to the world. As a simple example of the damaging effect of such abuses, the programmably translated punch line 116d at the end of the 'Grand Gallery' Utterance 200 'facing North' is "O Eye of Heru, you are higher and you are greater than the King." But Faulkner has "O Eye of Horus, be high and great on the King," where he thought the Eye of Horus was nothing but some incense.

If there is any truth to the existence of a lost civilization, the Great Pyramid Texts must have something to say about it, in all those four thousand columns of Hieroglyphs! The most secret doctrines of the Egyptians are openly explained with no recourse to "enigmatic writing" as actually happened much later in the New Kingdom for concealment. Egyptologists do not see any lost civilizations in their 'translations.' Their dictionaries do not contain any lost civilization words, even as a speculation. But this is just because they cannot conceive of a non-ritual Eye of Heru evolving in humanity through primeval times paut. Our knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, History and the Hieroglyphs has progressed far enough to reveal unmistakable evidence for the existence of highly advanced lost civilizations. The Great Pyramid Texts deal with a strange island of visual consciousness which is initially Star-like called the Eye of Heru two palm-widths before the brow. The same Star is referred to in the Kashmir Shaivism text, "Spanda Karikas" translated into English by Jaideva Singh in 1980, where it says on p.147, "From it, i.e. from 'Unmesa: Lit. Opening of the eye' which is being practised appear in a short time experience like the light of a star in the middle of the two eyebrows ..." The Pyramid Texts describe a loss of the Eye which happened during the lost civilizations of Easterners and Westerners. The Spiritual being who was the Chief, Khenet, of the Westerners (Imenetiu) was Osiris, Us-Ir.

Egyptologists have made some very bad educational guesses about the meaning of the word Duat as "Netherworld." They know perfectly well that there is nothing "nether" about the word nor is there any known connection with some kind of "world." Anyone who reads the Saqqara pyramid Hieroglyphs knows that they are mostly about the grammatically feminine Eye Iret of Heru. As a result, such readers know that any anonymous feminine pronoun s probably refers to this feminine Eye. For the same reason, they know that any functional noun with an otherwise anonymous feminine t ending also refers to the Eye. These anonymous feminine gender rules are really never broken in these texts. The word Duat is not likely to be any exception. Dua means "dawning" and when the t ending is added, Duat should mean "the dawning Eye." The Duat is then anything which is seen in the Eye of Heru, no matter what world it happens to be in.

Egyptologists no longer even try to translate the ancient word Us-Ir, because they think that it has undergone too many changes in the course of time. Perhaps it has... after the Old Kingdom. But in the Great Pyramid Texts, the word can be translated. It is always sculpted in exactly the same way thousands of times in all five Saqqara pyramids. The five Saqqara Kings evidently did not wish there to be any doubt about it. In these texts, the word Us is interchangeable with Set for "Activity or Activator" and the word Ir is interchangeable with Iret for "the Eye." As a result, the discarnated entity Us-Ir was the supreme "Activator of the Eye" for the lost civilizations of Easterners iabetiu and Westerners imenetiu.

On p.88 in Heaven's Mirror, some of the illustrated texts on the second shrine of Tutankhamen are reproduced. The two groups of figures have large wonderfully clear Hieroglyphic texts of explanation in front of them which Piankoff does not translate. But he does provide a translation of the smaller 'enigmatic inscriptions' above the sets of six figures, "(These gods are like this ...)" and continuing below the Ascending Cobra's triple fire striking the brow of the first figure "when the Star of the Soul comes." In front of the second figure where the triple fire from the Star is striking the brow, the explanation is still "when the Star of the Soul comes." The Star is shown coming to the same person in six different levels of 'Chakra' experience in the spinal serpent which was also shown in the complete illustration. The next group of six figures has a similar meaning with six identical texts again written in front of each figure. (These gods are like this ...) "when the Star of R'a comes" (in six different ways). The same six levels are described in the Great Pyramid Texts on the South wall of the King's Chambers. The rest of these Tutankhamen sets of six gods indicate that while visual concentration on the Seba Star of the Great Pyramid darkness is everything, the automatic power of breathing through the mouth is also involved in opening the Eye of Heru.

Throughout these texts, Egyptologists have never understood that the astronomical Stars were always being used as precise metaphors for fundamental Spiritual Stars in consciousness which are clearly defined in the known meanings of their names. The same thing is true of the physical Sky as an excellent metaphor for a Heavenly Sky or Spiritual Blue Void.

Egyptologists have a bad habit of transforming any direct spiritual instruction into an impossible command to a Candidate King. In three Queen's Chambers facing West, the programmably translated words of line 904c were said: "Your Soul is like a living Star standing out from its brothers."

Faulkner has a much less probable "Be a soul like a living star at the head of its brethren!" And he removed the pronoun ek for "you or your."

It is obvious that the Eye of Heru in the following 'dismissed' Utterance 81 of the Pyramid Texts is much more than Faulkner's "Hymn for awakening the king, adapted to presentation of napkins."

56a. Said [in the King's Chamber facing north] were the words: You (O Eye) wake in calm, so that wake in calm will the Veil, so that wake in calm will that Eye which is veiled, ...
57c. You sit, O Eye, [two palm-widths] in front of a Candidate King as his god, so that You will open his path to the fore among the Spirits,
57d. So that he will stand [or remain attentively fixed] to the fore among the Spirits like 'One who brings about Levitation' to the fore among the Westerners.

At some point, Egyptologists will have to recognize that there is such a thing as non-ritual, advanced knowledge in The Great Pyramid Texts. Much of this information is faithfully preserved in the later Coffin Texts and New Kingdom Books. But the 'Translations' are so incomplete, inconsistent and ritually slanted that any such advanced knowledge has been effectively lost. Fortunately, Egyptologists have done at least one thing right. They have restored and preserved much of the original Hieroglyphic texts.
The Saqqara Pyramid Texts are filled with advanced knowledge about the Tunnel of Near Death Experiences, which only just began to be rediscovered scientifically in the 20th century from the black-out experiences of healthy young Air Force pilots subjected to high g-forces in a giant centrifuge. This NDE knowledge also resurfaces in the 44th 'Spell' of the "Book of the Dead" but it is still mostly lost to the world, because of some of the biggest blunders in Egyptology. These last involve the two words re and tjepehet along with the expression ikhem sek.
If an Ancient Egyptian were alive today, he would grieve, from his point of view, for a whole world which is doomed to die a second time after physical death in a 'purgatory' of total personality destruction and death, instead of an immortality of high identity and memory. And all because of not knowing about "The Tunnel Opening or 'Spell' for not dying a second time in the realm of the dead."
Said were the words by Ani:
My Tunnel is opened, my Tunnel is opened. Spirits fall inside the darkness, but the Eye of Heru will set me apart from destruction. It is because an Opener of the Paths has reared me, that I have learned how to hide myself amidst you, O you Ensouling Stars who know not sweeping.
Re for "mouth," "tunnel opening" or "spell" has at least these three primary meanings according to the dictionaries of Egyptologists. "Mouth" is usually a ritual meaning, but Egyptologists now almost completely ignore their own non-ritual figurative meaning "tunnel opening," which in these texts actually refers to the Star-like "opening" point before the brow of the Tunnel of Near Death Experiences. Egyptologists have instead usually preferred the third meaning of "spell," but this in effect then leads to classifying these texts as ignorant magical mumbo jumbo. However the Star-like point two palm-widths before the brow is a real central point in visual consciousness which every 'Spell' in the "Book of the Dead" is actually talking about. The Hieroglyphic writing of re is the same for all three meanings of the word.
Egyptologists know perfectly well that tjepehet for "cavern" is really a snake hole or "tunnel." It is the Tunnel of Near Death Experiences in 'Spell' 44 and the serpent is the paranormal Levitation Power in that Tunnel, which can temporarily "transform a man into a god."
But the biggest blunder of all is when Egyptologists attempt to define the expression ikhem sek as an astronomical, circumpolar "Imperishable Star" which circumnavigates the north celestial pole without ever going below the horizon. This seemingly reasonable educated guess about the meaning of this expression (and this is all that it is) is wrong on several counts.
  1. Any reader of the Hieroglyphs knows that The Great Pyramid Texts are not, by any stretch of the imagination, about physical astronomy. With the possible exception of Utterance 302, they do not contain any technical, astronomical information. Real advanced Astrophysics does exist in the Udjat Eye of Heru, where no Egyptologist is now even looking. But common astronomical terms are employed as useful metaphors or figures of speech to help explain otherwise inexpressible, and even paranormal, knowledge about the consciousness of the Soul.
  2. Since this expression is only used metaphorically, it may well be in some sense, an idealized, perfect Star which does not even exist astronomically. And therefore it may be dead wrong to translate it as a strictly physical, astronomical object in an equally physical sky. However, this is exactly what has happened. In 77 occurrences of this 'Star' in the five pyramids of the five Saqqara Kings, there is not one shred of evidence for its supposed astronomical circumnavigation around the celestial pole. Egyptologists must have made a bad choice somewhere in their 'translation.'
  3. More careful translation does indeed reveal that this 'Star' is not just near the pole but is eternally right at the pole, where no physical star can ever remain. The so-called "Imperishable Star" is in fact an idealized, perfect Polestar or Tunnel Opening in the inner sky of visual consciousness in The Great Pyramid Texts as well as in the "Book of the Dead."
In the minds of Egyptologists, ikhem sek for "Star which knows not perishing" is of course "Imperishable Star." But the catch is, that the verb sek can also mean "sweeping (around)" or in New Age jargon "failing to be centered" or "failing to be the Central Star." The "sweeping" meaning also looks like the more primitive root of the "perishing" verb and cannot in any case be distinguished by the Hieroglyphic writing. Consistency really demands "sweeping" over "perishing" in these texts. And so ikhem sek becomes the Ensouling "Star which knows not sweeping" or "Polestar" before the brow in the samadhi of meditation or dying. From the second shrine of Tutankhamen, there at least six of these brow Polestars all stacked up along the line of Sight, where they can be seen only one at a time.
It will be recalled that in the Great Pyramid, the Grand Gallery is a gigantic megalithic Hieroglyph of the word seba for "Ensouling Star door." Even though it is half a football field long and three storeys high, it has the correct shape of an ancient Egyptian door Hieroglyph. However, this is no ordinary door. It is spelled exactly like the noun seba for "Star" and so it is in some sense a "Star door." But again this "door" is spelled exactly like the causative verb se-ba for "cause to be a Soul" or "ensoul" and so in some sense it is also an "Ensouling door." It should now be clear why this Grand Gallery "Ensouling Star door" is so significant in the Great Pyramid, because it is also the paranormal "Star which knows not sweeping" and "Tunnel" of Near Death Experiences throughout The Great Pyramid Texts.
But this strange Polestar-like door is best described in a few selections from its 77 occurrences in the Saqqara lines:
139a. ... it is because the (brow) Polestars (or Chakras) have levitated you (the Candidate King spiritually as well as physically).
148b. ... what is within you is the god who is as in front of the two eyes, a (brow) Polestar.
161a. ... such a Candidate comes ... , a polestar-like Spirit.

Returning to Utterance 302, it is extremely important for it to be known, although there is not the slightest chance that its meaning could ever be understood from the current 'Translations' of Egyptologists. It is important because it contains a definite precessional date of 24,000 BC with awesome implications about the history of Saqqara and Giza. It is really quite simple, when the key word meanings are straightened out.
Four thousand years ago, the two Pointer Stars (or 'Adze-Blade') of the Big Dipper pointed out the Star Polaris just as they do today. But at that time, Polaris was not a Polestar. Egyptologists are still a bit confused about the Mesekhetiu-Star. They know that it is somehow connected with an Adze or Big Dipper shaped group of Stars and yet it always has a single Star Determinative. The 'Adze-Blade' Pointer Stars in the Big Dipper always point out the single Star Polaris and so we most probably have mesekhetiu for "Adze-Blade pointed out Star" or "Polaris," and we already have ikhem sek for "Star which knows not sweeping" or brow "Polestar," so that the complete introduction to Utterance 302 becomes;
458a. Said [in the Queen's Chamber facing north in 24,000 BC] were the words: Whenever Heaven causes emission, so that a Sharp Pointed [brow] Star may live, (because a Candidate is verily a living one, a son of a Sharp Pointed Star),

The Great Pyramid Texts

"The 'Curse' of Tutankhamen is real after all. But it is only dangerous to those who are not in accord with at least the ideal of becoming a Candidate Activator of the Spiritual Eye, those who are 'spiritually impure' in the 'opinion' of the four protective Shrines of Tutankhamen.

Thanks to the research of Graham Hancock in "The Sign and the Seal," those four protective Shrines, now located on the second floor of the Cairo Museum, begin to look more like actual 'prototype Arks of the Covenant.' The evidence in support of this possibility is really quite overwhelming.

In the words of Howard Carter, "Magic for once seems to have prevailed (when those Arks successfully protected Tutankhamen's sarcophagus from tomb-robbers in the Valley of the Kings near Luxor)." In his Volume Two on page 38 of "The Tomb of Tut-ankh-Amen," he continues, "For of twenty-seven monarchs of the Imperial Age of Egypt buried in this valley, who have suffered every kind of depredation, Tut-ankh-Amen, throughout those thirty-three centuries, alone has lain unscathed, even though predatory hands violated the chambers of his tomb..."

The King's Chamber of his tomb was originally filled with four concentrically nested 'prototype Arks of the Covenant' designed to magically protect his sarcophagus from anyone who was spiritually impure. And incredible as it may appear, there can be no doubt that they actually succeeded. Tomb-robbers broke open the double door seal of the outermost Ark and then just looked inside without penetrating beyond 'the magic barrier.' The fact that Howard Carter himself lasted as long as he did after his penetration is more a tribute to his spiritual purity than anything else. The double door of the second Ark was closed by two ebony door bolts and a frail central cord secured only by a fragile clay seal. The third Ark's double door was similarly sealed, and the fourth Ark's double door had no seal at all. Those two clay seals were all that stood between plundering tomb-robbers and hundreds of pounds of solid gold in the enclosed sarcophagus. What stopped them? As Carter says, the tomb was wide open for many weeks to the prying eyes of every tomb-robber in the valley, while those four Shrines were being assembled by workers from 80 prefabricated parts in the confining space of the King's Chamber. It took Carter and his team 84 days of "hard labor" just to disassemble them in order to remove them.

It looks as though something 'terrible' really did stop all those tomb-robbers. But this would mean that those four Shrines don't just resemble such prototype Arks. They really are prototype Arks of the Covenant. This indeed is what additional evidence will show from, of all places, The Great Pyramid Texts.

The required rectangular box shape of 'terrible power' for any such "monstrous instrument" had to be built into its dimensions, so that a prototype Ark could be activated by and "between the two prototype cherubim" of Isis and Nephthys as described repeatedly in The Great Pyramid Texts for activating the Eye of Heru. Egyptologists have not yet discovered that all four of Tutankhamen's Shrines have a common prefabricated "cross-sectional area" to "length squared" ratio of (9/25) according to the published dimensions in Alexandre Piankoff's "The Shrines of Tut-ankh-Amon." This is the same 'terrible' ratio which was specified for the Biblical Ark of the Covenant. The Nine was a deliberate link to the paranormal forces of the Eye of Heru, when activated by and between the two prototype cherubim. It is not too surprising that Nine might have such a weird connection with miraculous forces because in 1926, Erwin Schroedinger discovered a strange Quantum Mechanical Equation which turned out to have just such a set of Nine prototype solutions for the electron energy structures of the hydrogen atom. As described in "The Sign and the Seal" on pp. 273-6, the Biblical Ark of the Covenant:

1. was "a rectangular chest measuring three feet nine inches by two feet three inches by two feet three inches" which is a special case of the more general (9/25) shape ratio specification referred to earlier for all four Shrines, was "made of acacia wood" (Egyptologists believe the four Shrines are made of cedar wood), was "plated inside and out, with pure gold" (the four Shrines were similarly covered), was decorated "all around with a gold moulding" (all four Shrines have such a moulding all around the top edge of the rectangular box shapes), had placed "on top ... a one piece ... throne of mercy ... with two golden cherubim fastened to the two ends" (all four Shrines have such prototype mercy seat lids with two golden prototype cherubim attached as high-winged serpent forms of Isis and Nephthys), had occasionally "fiery jets" issuing "from the cherubim" ... which "burned and destroyed nearby objects" ( ... it is because a Candidate has come near you, O fiery serpent, PT 194b), "was able to counteract gravity" ( ... Which mechenet Ark Eye shall be brought for you, O Candidate? There shall be brought for a Candidate 'It levitates and It hovers.' PT 494ab),

  1. repeatedly killed ( ... so that whomever the Godhead wishes that he will live, it is he who will live; and whomever he wishes that he will die, it is he who will die. PT 155d).
Three of the four prototype mercy seats are covered with activation texts and illustrations, but they are too far above everyone's head to be visible from below.
If four Prototype Arks of the Covenant can now be in the Cairo museum, there is no reason why the Biblical Ark can't be in Axum, Ethiopia. And if the guardian priest in Axum will not allow us to see the Ark, at least we have four giant prototype Arks to look at whenever we wish to or dare to.
The Great Pyramid Texts, as here conceived, have given a voice to the Great Pyramid. But, in a strangely self-confirming way, they have also given a startlingly unexpected voice to the nearby Great Sphinx temple complex southeast of the Great Pyramid itself.The Sphinx Temple is directly in front of the Great Sphinx, while the so-called Kh'afr'a Valley Temple is just southeast of the Sphinx. The entire Great Sphinx temple complex is presently thought to be devoid of contemporaneously inscribed texts. Egyptologists believe that both temples were built by Kh'afr'a about forty-five centuries ago in the 4th Dynasty. But as argued by John Anthony West on page 214 of "Serpent in the Sky," "The architectural style and building scale of the Sphinx and Sphinx temple complex are unlike anything else in Dynastic Egypt."
The megalithic red granite ashlars, as architectural Hieroglyphs in both temples, alone indicate a predynastic date. According to Mark Lehner on page 126 of "The Complete Pyramids" in the Kh'afr'a Valley Temple "There are 23 statue bases, though the one at the center of the leg of the T-shaped hall is wider and perhaps was counted twice, making 24 in all." And again on page 128 he says that in the Sphinx Temple, "Twenty-four red granite pillars formed a colonnade and ambulatory around a central courtyard." However they have no known purpose.
But in The Great Pyramid Texts, there just happens to be one key Utterance 219 which repeats the same profound prototype Covenant in lines 167b to 167d exactly twenty-four times. As it does this, it seeks to explain the relationship between An Activator of the Eye and the rest of the Universe from the Godhead down to beings like ourselves. Egyptologists do not agree on how to read this prototype Covenant text, but a programmably translated sample has a reasonably clear meaning in this first of its twenty-four parts.

The above Covenant is between the Godhead and such Candidate Activators of the Eye. This Temple structured Utterance with its prototype Covenant is unique in The Great Pyramid Texts. And it really does seem to fit with the actual words which were said before each of those 23 statue bases in the Kh'afr'a Valley Temple.

The Great Pyramid Texts

One of the strangest unrecognized facts in Egyptology is the really quite obvious connection between the Saqqara Pyramid Texts and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Egyptologists have known for more than three quarters of a century, that for example there exists a very special set of these Utterances in the Saqqara Sarcophagus Chambers which are repeated on the very same wall in two or more of the five Saqqara Pyramids. But this perfect pattern of repetition has a profound meaning for Egyptology and cannot be safely dismissed.

Do Egyptologists really need to have the significance of these repetitions explained to them, before they can understand what they should have realized nearly a century ago? No competent Egyptologist can deny that these exclusively repeated Utterances are clearly classifiable as Sarcophagus or King's Chamber Texts, even belonging to the same walls. There can be no reasonable doubt that such Utterances belonged as much to the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid as to the King's Chambers in the five Saqqara Pyramids. And this means that we really do have wonderful evidence for what actually took place in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid.
Utterances 23, 25, 32-57, 72-79, 81-96 and 108-141 belonged to the North wall and were said in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid or any sufficiently similar Pyramid.

Utterances 207-208, 210-212, 338-347, 355, 357, 459, 593-597, 599-602 and 604 belonged to the East wall of the King's Chamber, where with some help from the 'pun decipherment' of untranslated artificial words and using for the Egyptian letter 'a our English letter "short o" which came originally through Latin, Greek and Phoenician from the alphabetical 'ayin or "forearm" Hieroglyphic letter, Utterance 341 contains wonderful information about the Great Sphinx.

The Great Pyramid Texts

The Great Pyramid Texts of Ancient Egypt are the legacy of a Lost Civilization, so advanced, that we have only just begun to catch up with it in the last 314 years. This quite easily provable fact is still not known or even suspected by the Science of Egyptology. Instead, all we have is a representative Egyptologist in a Television Documentary challenging, "Show me a potsherd!" But the exact evidence supporting the existence of an Advanced Lost Civilization is not necessarily going to be limited to clay pottery! The problem is, that it is not enough to just 'look at' such evidence. It is also necessary to be able to 'recognize' it, when it is 'seen', as the Calculus or Advanced Mathematics which an educated observer already knows. Such 'figurative potsherds' of an Advanced Lost Civilization are scattered all over Egypt! Sir Alan Gardiner in his "Egyptian Grammar" describes the Ancient Egyptian fractions used to divide the HEQAT Unit or 'Gallon (British Imperial almost exactly)'. He 'sees' that the 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and 1/64 fractions of the UDJAT or 'Whole Eye of Horus' add up to only 63/64 and quips, "presumably the missing 1/64 was supplied magically by Thoth. " But he fails to 'recognize' that 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64,  .  .  .  is a well-known Calculus 'infinite sequence' which is associated with a Calculus 'infinite series' 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 + 1/64 + .  .  . which, only by Calculus, can be added up to exactly 1. The missing 1/64 was thus undeniably supplied by Calculus over 4,000 years ago, which in turn could only have come from an Advanced Lost Civilization. History had to wait for Sir Isaac Newton to invent Calculus in 1687 AD, before we could ever calculate, or even know, the exact HEQAT unitary 'sum', to which it 'converges'. The UDJAT infinite series is just one out of an infinite number of such geometric progressions. Each one of them has its own 'first term', 'common ratio' and 'convergent sum', if the square of the 'common ratio' is less than 1. The UDJAT infinite series has a 'first term' of 1/2, a 'common ratio' of 1/2 and a 'convergent sum' of 1, when all of its infinite number of terms are added up. [For such an infinite geometric series, the 'Calculus limit' of its 'sum', as the number of its terms approaches infinity, is (a) / (1 - r) , where 'a' is the 'first term', and 'r' is the 'common ratio' to each subsequent term.] The UDJAT infinite series is the only geometric series in the Universe, whose 'first term' is the same as its 'common ratio', and the 'sum' of its parts or terms is 1. Even the 1/2 value of its 'first term' and the 1/2 value of its 'common ratio' to the next term were only possible to discover by the Calculus of a Lost Civilization. The 'fingerprints' of Calculus are all over the UDJAT Eye. The Probability of guessing the correct UDJAT infinite series, out of an infinite number of other choices, is exactly zero! Calculus is required, and the Science of Egyptology can no longer remain in a state of not knowing it.CALCULUS The UDJAT infinite series was so highly revered in Ancient Egypt, that the Kings actually wore 3 Dimensional Hieroglyphs for its Calculus terms on their heads as Royal Crowns. In the Pyramid Texts, the profile view of the NET 'Red Crown' or UADJET 'Green Crown' was the UDJAT sequence of terms '1/16, 1/32 & 1/64' facing straight down for Lower Egypt in the UDJAT Eye; the profile view of the HEDJET 'White Crown' was used for the remaining UDJAT sequence of terms '1/2, 1/4 & 1/8' facing straight up for Upper Egypt in the UDJAT Eye; and the SEKHEMET 'Double or White & Red Crown' was used for the whole UDJAT sequence of terms '1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 & 1/64' or the whole UDJAT Eye of Upper and Lower Egypt combined. Later in the 18th Dynasty, a new stylized Hieroglyphic Crown was specially designed, so that its profile view would be the KHEPERESH 'Blue Crown' for the UDJAT sequence of Calculus terms '1/8 & 1/16', which the Kings could then wear. These Calculus Crowns of the UDJAT infinite series reveal just how sadly the Science of Egyptology has underestimated Ancient Egypt and its legacy from an Advanced Lost Civilization. The significance of huge sculptured 'Calculus potsherds' everywhere on the heads of the Egyptian Kings, has been completely missed by the Science of Egyptology! Ancient Egyptian 'Calculus potsherds' have also been found in enormous numbers as UDJAT Eye 'amulets', completely misunderstood to be entirely mythological objects. The Egyptologist Dr. I. E. S. Edwards comments in "The Pyramids of Egypt" about the gigantic 2570 BC Bent Pyramid of SENEFERU, "Although the southern pyramid was no doubt planned as a geometrically true pyramid, it was not completed as such;" If he is right, we have this time a truly enormous 'figurative potsherd', about which the Science of Egyptology has managed once more to not know. Evidently Dr. Edwards was, and apparently still is, the only Egyptologist in the world who knew enough mathematics to be able to 'recognize' the unique slope angle of a huge 'octahedron' poking up out of the desert sands. But no one seems to have known what he meant by 'a geometrically true pyramid'. This 'octahedron potsherd' is one of the five regular solids which was not going to be discovered for another two thousand years around 400 BC by Plato's friend Theaetetus, without some help from a Lost Civilization.

But in the Pyramid Texts, there is evidence that much more than our Calculus was known about the UDJAT infinite series, which is quite alien to Modern Science. The Calculus terms were clearly thought to have some connection with attaining the Paranormal Powers of the UDJAT Eye of Horus through the consciousness of a strange Star. The texts say that concentration on this Great Pyramid Star at first causes Second Sight, which then always leads to Levitation.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Sheol or Hades is beneath the earth

Ezekiel 31:15 `Thus says the Lord God, "On the day when it went down to Sheol I caused lamentations; I closed the deep over it and held back its rivers. And its many waters were stopped up, and I made Lebanon mourn for it, and all the trees of the field wilted away on account of it.16 "I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall when I made it go down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit; and all the well-watered trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, were comforted in the earth beneath.17 "They also went down with it to Sheol to those who were slain by the sword; and those who were its strength lived under its shade among the nations." Three distinct words are rendered "hell" in KJV. The R.V. is more exact. The Hebrew word Sheool, for example, in Deuteronomy 32:22 (R.V. "the lowest pit"), is probably derived from a root "to make hollow," and was seen as the common receptacle of the dead, below the earth. Sheol signifies depth in Job 11:8 (R.V.) and insatiability in Isaiah 5:14. "If I make my bed in hell [R.V. Sheol], behold, thou art there" (Psalms 139:8) shows it as a place to which the power of God extends. It is rendered "the grave" in Song of Solomon 8:6, signifying cruelty. The meaning of Sheol moves between the ideas of the grave, the underworld and the state of death. Throughout the ancient Near East, as elsewhere, the dead were pictured as existing in a subterranean realm known in Bab. as aralu and in Ugaritic as Õeres\, `earth'. But whereas these were ruled by their own gods, God was the ruler of Sheol. Sheol was below the surface of the earth (Ezk. 31:15, 17; Ps. 86:13), a place of dust (Jb. 17:16), darkness (Jb. 10:21), silence (Ps. 94:17) and forgetfulness (Ps. 88:12). Sometimes the distinctions of earthly life are pictured as continuing in Sheol (Is. 14:9; Ezk. 32:27), but always it is a place of weakness and joylessness. In some passages Sheol has a punitive aspect (e.g. Ps. 49:13-14) and premature committal to Sheol is a form of judgment. The OT sees earthly life as the arena for the service of God; it is there that his word can be received, his sacrifices offered, his interventions experienced. Therefore in a real sense to be in Sheol is to be cut off from his hand (Ps. 88:3-5). However, God is both present in Sheol (Ps. 139:8) and able to deliver from it (Ps. 16:10). Some have seen in words such as Õab_addoÆn, `destruction' (Jb. 31:12; 26:6; 28:22; Ps.88:11; Pr. 15:11; 27:20), sûah\at_, `pit' and perhaps sometimes also `corruption' (E. F. Sutcliffe, The Old Testament and the Future Life, 1946, pp. 39f.; Jb. 33:24; Ps. 16:10; Ezk. 28:8, etc.) and boÆr, `pit' (Ps. 30:3; Ezk. 31:14), a place of punishment within Sheol. But no passage where they occur necessitates this interpretation, and the idea is not explicitly formulated in the OT. These words are better regarded as synonyms of Sheol, with which they all sometimes occur in parallelism. In the later Jewish literature we meet with divisions within Sheol for the wicked and the righteous, in which each experiences a foretaste of his final destiny (Enoch 22:1-14). This idea appears to underlie the imagery of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in Lk. 16:19-31. The Gk. hadeµs used in this passage represents the underworld, or realm of the dead, in the classics. In the lxx it almost always translates sûeÕoÆl, and in the NT the Pesh. renders it by sûeyuÆl. It is therefore the NT equivalent of Sheol. It is used in connection with the death of Christ in Acts 2:27, 31, which quotes Ps. 16:10. In Mt. 16:18 Christ says that the gates of Hades (cf. Is. 38:10; Pss. 9:13; 107:18) shall not prevail against his church. As the gates of a city are essential to its power, the meaning here is probably the power of death. The phrase `brought down to Hades' in Mt. 11:23 is best understood metaphorically of the depths of shame. In Rev., Christ holds the keys of Death and Hades (1:18). Their power (6:8) is broken and they are banished to the lake of fire (20:13-14). The word paradise (Gk. paradeisos) occurs in only three instances in the NT (Lk. 23:43; 2 Cor. 12:3; Rev. 2:7). The context shows that the predominating sense is that of the later development of the word. In Lk. 23:43 the word `paradise' is used by Jesus for the place where souls go immediately after death, cf. the concealed paradise in later Jewish thought. The same idea is also present in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus (Lk. 16:19-31). HELL. `Hell' in the NT renders the Gk. word transliterated as `Gehenna' (Mt. 5:22, 29-30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15, 33; Mk. 9:43, 45, 47; Lk. 12:5; Jas. 3:6). The name is derived from the Heb. geÆ(ben)(beneÆ) hinnoµm, the Valley of (the son[s] of Hinnom, a valley near Jerusalem (Jos. 15:8; 18:16), where children were sacrificed by fire in connection with pagan rites (2 Ki. 23:10; 2 Ch. 28:3; 33:6; Je. 7:31; 32:35). Its original derivation is obscure, but Hinnom is almost certainly the name of a person. In later Jewish writings Gehenna came to mean the place of punishment for sinners (Assumption of Moses 10:10; 2 Esdras 7:36). It was depicted as a place of unquenchable fire - the general idea of fire to express the divine judgment is found in the OT (Dt. 32:22; Dn. 7:10). The rabbinic literature contains various opinions as to who would suffer eternal punishment. The ideas were widespread that the sufferings of some would be terminated by annihilation, or that the fires of Gehenna were in some cases purgatorial (Rosh Hashanah 16b-17a; Baba MeziÕa 58b; Mishnah Eduyoth 2. 10). But those who held these doctrines also taught the reality of eternal punishment for certain classes of sinners. Both this literature and the Apocryphal books affirm belief in an eternal retribution (cf. Judith 16:17; Psalms of Solomon 3:13). The teaching of the NT endorses this past belief. The fire of hell is unquenchable (Mk. 9:43), eternal (Mt. 18:8), its punishment is the converse of eternal life (Mt. 25:46). There is no suggestion that those who enter hell ever emerge from it. However, the NT leaves the door open for the belief that while hell as a manifestation of God's implacable wrath against sin is unending, the existence of those who suffer in it may not be. It is difficult to reconcile the ultimate fulfilment of the whole universe in Christ (Eph. 1:10; Col. 1:20) with the continued existence of those who reject him. Some scholars have contended that an eternal punishment is one which is eternal in its effects; in any case eternal does not necessarily mean never-ending, but implies `long duration extending to the writer's mental horizon' (J. A. Beet). On the other hand Rev. 20:10 does indicate conscious, never-ending torment for the devil and his agents, albeit in a highly symbolic passage, and some would affirm that a similar end awaits human beings who ultimately refuse to repent. In any case, nothing should be allowed to detract from the seriousness of our Lord's warnings about the terrible reality of God's judgment in the world to come. In Jas. 3:6 Gehenna, like the bottomless pit in Rev. 9:1ff.; 11:7, appears to be the source of evil on the earth. NT imagery concerning eternal punishment is not uniform. As well as fire it is described as darkness (Mt. 25:30; 2 Pet. 2:17), death (Rev. 2:11), destruction and exclusion from the presence of the Lord (2 Thes. 1:9; Mt. 7:21-23), and a debt to pay (Mt. 5:25-26). In 2 Pet. 2:4 only, we find the Verb tartarooµ, translated in rsv `cast into hell', and rendered by the Pesh. `cast down to the lower regions'. Tartaros is the classical word for the place of eternal punishment but is here applied to the intermediate sphere of punishment for fallen angels. Hadeµs (a{dh", (86)), the region of departed spirits of the lost (but including the blessed dead in periods preceding the Ascension of Christ). It has been thought by some that the word etymologically meant the unseen (from a, negative, and eido, to see), but this derivation is questionable; a more probable derivation is from hadoµ, signifying all–receiving. It corresponds to "Sheol" in the O.T. In the A.V. of the O.T. and N.T., it has been unhappily rendered "Hell," e.g., Psa. 16:10; or "the grave," e.g., Gen. 37:35; or "the pit," Num. 16:30, 33; in the N.T. the Revisers have always used the rendering "Hades;" in the O.T.they have not been uniform in the translation, e.g., in Isa. 14:15, "hell" (marg., "Sheol"); usually they have "Sheol" in the text and "the grave" in the margin. It never denotes the grave, nor is it the permanent region of the lost; in point of time it is, for such, intermediate between decease and the doom of Gehenna. For the condition, see Luke 16:23-31. The word is used four times in the Gospels, and always by the Lord, Matt. 11:23; 16:18; Luke 10:15; 16:23; it is used with reference to the soul of Christ, Acts 2:27, 31; Christ declares that He has the keys of it, Rev. 1:18; in Rev. 6:8 it is personified, with the signification of the temporary destiny of the doomed; it is to give up those who are therein, 20:13, and is to be cast into the lake of fire, ver. 14. BEMA SEAT JUDGMENT FOR CHURCH SAINTS ONLY FOR REWARDS

Believers will be judged, but not for their sins, because their sins were judged on the cross. We are judged for our works done in the body. See The Seven Significant Judgements for details about the judgments of God. Our works will be judged at the Bema. The Bema is the term for the Judgment Seat. In the synagogue the Bema is the raised platform in the center of the synagogue where the Torah is read. Messiah will be at the Bema to judge our works.

"More wise is the advice which is given in that / Page 217 / excellent little treatise known as Light on the Path, when it says:

" Seek out the way.
Seek the way by retreating within.
Seek the way by advancing boldly without."

This is balanced advice, the way of the life of the spirit, which lives in the union of the in­breath and out-breath; indeed in the mode of the spirit the in-breath and out-breath are not consecutive but simultaneous. This admirable little book tells of the nature of the way with true insight; and there must be few who cannot see that such instruction completely rebuts the charge of unpracticality that has so often been brought against the mystic way; for it shows that its pursuit is the most immediate, intense, wakeful, agile, living thing in the world. Spontaneous intensification of awareness, instan­taneous operation, immediate comprehension, perpetual agility and adaptability,-these spirit­ual powers and many another of like nature can hardly be called unpractical; they are rather magical, and miraculous.

It is therefore well said in The Voice of the Silence:
"Thou canst not travel on that Path before thou hast become that Path itself."
Here' travelling' is prefaced by and becoming connotes something other than / Page 218 / intellectual appreciation, where there is per­petual separation of subject and object; it signifies rather the life-side of things, and first realises itself in the modes of sym-pathy and corn-passion. It is the Path of Life and not of Death; and travelling on the Path of Life is conditioned by self-motivity and not by compulsion.
And here I would quote perhaps one of the most magnificent instructions preserved to us from the Gnosis of antiquity. It is found in the Trismegistic tractate known as the 'Mind to Hermes' (Corp. Herm. xi. (xii.) 20), and runs as follows:

"Then in this way know (or think) God; as having all things in Himself as thoughts, the whole Cosmos itself.
"If, then, thou dost not make thyself like unto God, thou canst not know Him. For like is knowable to like alone.
"Make, then, thyself to grow to the same stature as the Greatness that transcends all measure; leap forth from every body; transcend all Time; become Eternity (the lEon); and thus shalt thou know God.
"Conceiving nothing is impossible unto thy­self, think thyself deathless and able to know all,-all arts, all sciences, the way of every life.

"Become more lofty than all height, and lower than all depth. Collect into thyself all senses of all creatures,-of fire, and water, dry and moist. Think that thou art at the same time in every place,-in earth, in sea, in sky; not yet begotten, in the womb, young, old, and dead, in after-death conditions.
"And if thou knowest all these things at once, - times, places, doings, qualities, and quantities,-thou canst know God."
And the teacher, who evidently spoke out of the depths of his own experience, concludes with the comfortable words:
"So to be able to know good, to will, and hope, is a Straight Way, the Good's own Path, both leading there and easy.
"If thou but sett'st thy foot thereon, 'twill meet thee everywhere, 'twill everywhere be seen, both where and when thou dost expect it not,-waking, sleeping, sailing, journeying, hy night, by day, speaking, and saying naught. For there is naught that is not image of the Good. "
This is the Path of the Spirit, the One Path, the eternal type, and immanent reality, of every way that leads to it. There is no need to pursue after it, to try to find it some other way, or on some other plane, or in some other state; it is ever present, always immediate. The only / Page 220 / way to seek it is by becoming it at every moment of time; joyously becoming circum­stance that it may no longer hinder but per­petually reveal itself as the Straight Way to Union with the Divine.

"To be free of form connotes the possibility of taking any form at will; to be free of change means that one is ever changing. True life is this power of freedom; to be stuck in one form of body, or feeling, or thought, to be incapable of change, is true death. That which is ever changing is that which is instan­taneous in life, and therefore essentially superior to change; that which can take all forms is ever present in every moment of time, and alone is immortal.
From the point of view, then, of this mystic reality, or let us say of the man who is attempting perpetually to initiate himself into the gnosis of self-realisation, what meanings should be given to the theoretical and practical 1
In the first place it would seem that, above all else, he should strive to value them equally, and so keep them in himself in perfect balance and poise, for his goal is the Birth of the Justified, the Birth of Horus. The theoretical, or contemplative, for him is the mode of his nature in which he conceives the living ideas of Truth, and the practical is the giving birth to these ideas in the actual. To know Truth, he must live Truth. To live Truth his thoughts, words and deeds must match; so alone can / Page 231 / Truth for him become instantaneous and immediate. There is then a straight path in himself from within without, and the without instantly becomes the within for him; reality is actualised as one and not as twain, as se]f and not as other, and Truth is all in all.
'Phe practical is then no longer conditioned by his personal opinions and selfish sentiments; for the practical for him is now all that is being done, the karma of the world, the inevitable complement and completion of the theoretical-that is, the great plan and self­counsel of the Divine. With this Divine economy he now works naturally, and therefore contentedly, blissfully; for he recognises by experience that his co-working with Nature is the necessary condition of understanding, of spiritual gnosis. For Nature is wise, the Mother of wisdom, even as Wisdom is the Mother of nature; and the working with Nature brings wisdom to birth in man, and the working with Wisdom makes man's nature Divine.
